I am an Artist / Photographer living in a hamlet in rural Devon, UK.
My passion is Photography and creating handmade cards, gifts, photo cards, framed photographs © and canvasses. I also make beautiful Suncatchers using crystals, embellish wooden hearts and create a variety of gifts and decorations. Every creation is unique.
It‘s all in the detail!Having travelled the world when I was 23, I discovered that capturing all aspects of nature and journeys, through my lens, was a way to “
capture a feeling“. At 24, years old I became chronically ill with Lupus, Rheumatoid and then a multitude of other autoimmune illnesses as the years went by. Photography and “creating“ afforded me a therapeutic peace within a chaotic world of multiple surgeries and too much time in hospitals. My creativity has been my occupational therapy for many years and, in thanks for those who have taken care of me and encouraged me, I‘ve donated framed photographs, Suncatchers and Canvasses to local charities and hospices.
My artworks have been sold through Devonian retailers, displayed in hospitals and also in Europe.
I am delighted to say I have recently become a Wrendale Stockist for Wrendale Designs and the incredibly talented Hannah Dale artworks. Hannah’s work is truly outstanding and I have cards for all occasions including her new creations which are gorgeous. Please feel free to contact me if you’d like to purchase these cards. LUXURY EMBELLISHED CARDS
All Luxury Cards are made by hand and are completely unique. I use various mediums... I upcycle most of my card embellish with little gems, mosaic stones, marbled stones, dried and fabric flowers, layered papers, card, metal charms, bows, various cardboards, washi tape, diamante, resin, wood, glass and acrylic accents, ribbons etc to create a 3D effect. The cards are provided in a sealed cellophane bag inside a box and the box is large enough to enclose a gift, e.g. a Suncatcher, or with a white envelope. There are no two cards the same. The greeting inside the cards are listed in the description. Please let me know the number of the Card Box which is shown in the description and I can place them in a bag in the enclosed porch at The Orchard. Box cards do not have envelopes as the 3D designs are layered, however, if you would like an envelope in addition to the box, please let me know.
Due to the financial constraints for many this year, I have reduced my pricing structure which I hope will be favourable in the economic climate we find ourselves in.
